The base plates are pressed, laminated and punched externally. In Sinabelkirchen, we continue the value chain:

In the plant, robots gently pick up the panels using vacuum suction cups. A camera system precisely detects the position, while the software calculates correction values and controls the exact application.

Our KUKA KRC 5 robots apply foam beads, spacers and labels with maximum precision – repeatable to within a tenth of a millimetre.

After application, the plates are automatically checked: our employees carry out a visual inspection, and the end-of-line testing system completes the final inspection, including photo documentation.

Finally, the tested Protex panels are packed into GLT boxes and prepared for transport.
