Dayton (NJ)

Located in Dayton, our flagship East Coast facility sits adjacent to our U.S. headquarters and serves as the central hub within our North American network. Its strategic position between New York City and Philadelphia—combined with direct access to the New Jersey Turnpike and surrounding interstate corridors—enables fast, flexible distribution across the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast regions.

Spanning more than 400,000 square feet, the facility is purpose-built for high-volume, multimodal transloading. It features over 50 dock doors across both sides of the building, dedicated flatbed loading ramps, and interior rail spurs capable of handling 12+ railcars simultaneously. This setup allows for efficient transfer between ocean containers, truckload, LTL, and rail—supporting both import and domestic distribution flows.

Situated approximately 30 minutes from the Port of New York and New Jersey, one of the busiest gateways in the country, the warehouse is fully permitted to transload overweight containers exceeding 45,000 lbs. (20+ up to 28 metric tons). Its proximity to the port helps reduce drayage time, improve equipment turn times, and mitigate congestion-related delays.

As the highest-throughput transloading operation in our network, the site handles more than 1,500 truck movements per month, ensuring consistent capacity for high-volume programs and time-sensitive cargo. Our proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) provide real-time visibility, inventory accuracy, and full traceability across all transactions. Both platforms are fully EDI-capable, enabling seamless integration with customer systems—from small and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 supply chains.

The facility is equipped with a versatile fleet of material handling equipment, including forklifts ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 lbs., as well as specialized attachments such as extended forks, roll clamps, and carton clamps. This allows us to safely and efficiently handle a wide range of commodities, including paper products, metals, and other heavy or non-standard freight.

Operating in alignment with food-grade warehouse standards, the site follows strict cleanliness and handling protocols, making it suitable for packaging materials and other sensitive goods. Core commodities include cut-size paper, paper rolls, steel and aluminum coils, sheet metal, and other cargo compatible with our handling capabilities.

Sustainability remains a key focus across our operations. Our commitment to responsible logistics practices has been recognized with a Platinum rating from EcoVadis, placing us among the top-performing companies globally in environmental, social, and ethical standards.

Los Angeles (CA)

Located in Carson, within the high-activity Los Angeles / Long Beach logistics corridor, this facility operates at the core of one of the most important freight gateways in North America. Positioned just a few miles from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach, the site provides direct access to the largest container port complex in the United States.

The facility consists of two adjacent warehouses strategically located in what is widely recognized as the overweight corridor—prime logistics real estate specifically designed for high-capacity container handling and transloading. This specialized infrastructure allows for the efficient processing of overweight containers up to 26 metric tons, helping clients reduce ocean freight constraints and optimize total landed cost.

With the West Coast handling a disproportionate share of U.S. import volumes through Southern California, the Carson location benefits from proximity to the nation’s busiest rail and intermodal ecosystem, including connections to major operators such as Union Pacific Railroad and BNSF Railway. This enables seamless transfer between port, rail, and over-the-road distribution channels.

The facilities include secured, fenced yards, container staging areas, and outdoor storage capacity, supporting flexible short-term and long-term logistics requirements. Located approximately 10 miles from the ports, the site minimizes drayage distance and improves container turn times, making it a highly efficient node for import-heavy supply chains.

The Carson terminal also provides competitive over-the-road (OTR) trucking services, with strong coverage throughout a 100-mile radius, including Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and Orange County. This regional reach enables fast redistribution into one of the most densely populated and consumption-driven markets in the United States.

Overall, the Carson facility serves as a critical West Coast gateway for overweight container transloading, high-volume import handling, and regional distribution—leveraging its location within the most important port-adjacent logistics corridor in the country.

Gleisdorf (AT)

Gleisdorf is the central point of contact for all logistics and IT projects carried out by the Jerich Group. The core area of the organization’s activities, our expertly managed dispatch team, is responsible for running the in-house fleet of 27 articulated lorries and employs up to 120 lorry drivers and freight-forwarding companies. Some 20,000 individual dispatch assignments are performed each year, with paper transports accounting for 75% of the business.

Jerich Gleisdorf was able to reach new standards in customer performance and processes. These efforts have been evaluated in June 06 by TÜV Wien. We were one of the first companies who successfully implemented the new ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 14001.

We began our close business partnership in 2004, which led us into the automotive industry through our grassroots. We are responsible for up to 12,000 tons of raw material and perform just-in-time-delivery directly to the machines. The logistic terminal is able to fulfill the strict requirements with three 32 ton overhead cranes and a heated warehouse area. The just-in-time deliveries are carried out using our own truck fleet.

In terms of infrastructure, the logistics terminal in Gleisdorf fully matches the organization’s perception of itself as a systemic logistics provider. Our terminal consists of 300 m of railway sidings and 10,000 m2 of warehousing space - as well as a container terminal.
