The 100,000 square foot RDC was established in conjunction with Sappi North America, who awarded the business to Jerich USA after an extensive RFQ.  Jerich will coordinate the consolidation of Sappi’s stock from Jerich’s Hanahan facility, as well as Sappi’s paper previously warehoused in Lawrenceville, GA.

The new RDC in Atlanta furthers Jerich USA’s integration into Sappi North America’s supply chain.  After extensive market research and analysis, Atlanta served as the best option to keep transportation costs low and position products closer to Sappi’s primary customers.  Although the product from Hanahan is still being transferred, Jerich USA will operate fully out of both warehouses with a seamless transition throughout the first 3 weeks of July.  Jerich Hanahan will continue to operate independently for its other customers even after the move for Sappi North America is complete.
