On the 1st of October of 1998 the “Jerich Germany GmbH“ was founded. With only 36 employees at the startup, the company immediately established a very good reputation as a reliable industry-related service provider. Due to joint efforts and the positive development of the location, Jerich Germany now has more than 160 employees.

In 2001, the construction of a terminal and an extension of the rail infrastructure temporarily fulfilled the requirements of raising volumes but the business development showed the need to handle even higher capacities. Even the office building (which was constructed in 2004) is already too small and will be extended in the upcoming months.

Hand in hand with our partners and customers we implemented a cross-dock and service platform in the past 10 years. This platform is the basis for the enormous Third-Party-Logistics performance and the trimodal terminal. The new terminal and crane are also visible results of the good cooperation of Jerich Germany, the municipality, and the provincial government.

For the family-run enterprise, such a big investment of about € 5 Million in the infrastructure of the terminal points the way to higher dimensions. Jerich Germany is ready for the future development in logistics and fulfils the requirements to offer further holistic logistic services.

The inauguration of the new terminal and crane was celebrated on the 26th of September at the premises of Jerich Germany in Voerde. About 150 guests, business partners, and customers came to celebrate the inauguration with us, also commemorating the 10th anniversary of a prospering Jerich Germany. After the official proceedings, culinary highlights were served to enjoy then the idyllic surroundings of the river Rhine on the “River Lady”. After the excursion by boat was complete, the open ended party started back at the terminal.
